Pilates Class Notebook ("we", "us") is operated by La Galerie Studio LLC, an Alabama limited liability company. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
Your account. Your email address and an encrypted password. If you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) handles your card details — we never see or store them.
What you put in the app. Your exercise library, class plans, class schedule, and any client names and notes you enter. This is your content. We store it so the app works across your devices.
Basic usage data. Device type, browser, and error logs, used to keep the app working.
Notes you keep about your clients
You may enter client names and notes, including injuries, modifications, and other details about the people you teach. Understand what that means:
- Those people are your clients, not ours. You are responsible for handling their information lawfully, for telling them you keep notes, and for getting their consent where your local law requires it.
- Enter only what you need to teach safely. Don't store medical records, diagnoses, insurance details, or anything you wouldn't be comfortable writing in a paper notebook at the studio.
- We do not sell this information, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone outside the providers listed below.
- Pilates Class Notebook is not a medical record system and is not designed to meet HIPAA requirements. If you are a healthcare provider subject to HIPAA, do not use it for protected health information.
How we use what we collect
To run the app, keep your account secure, process your subscription, respond when you contact support, and fix problems. That's it. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Who else touches your data
- Supabase — stores your account and content
- Stripe — processes payments
- Google Workspace — sends account and support emails
Each one only receives what it needs to do its job.
How long we keep it
As long as your account is open. Delete your account and we delete your content within [30] days, except anything we must keep for tax or legal reasons. Backups roll off within [90] days.
Your choices
- Export. Download everything you've entered, any time, from Settings.
- Delete. Delete your account yourself from Settings, or email us.
- Correct. Edit anything in the app directly.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your data. Email us and we'll honor them.
Security
We use encrypted connections and access controls so that only you can reach your content. No service can promise perfect security, but we'll tell you promptly if a breach affects your data.
Children
Pilates Class Notebook is for instructors and isn't intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
We'll post updates here and email you if a change materially affects you.
